Meet the Team

  • Lorna

Lorna is the owner of Pawfect Petsitting and began her business back at the start of 2015 with dog walking and pet sitting in the owners home.

She has grown up with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs and also loves being outdoors. It made sense to combine this and make a living out of it!

After a short while small animal visits began getting more popular and a few days a week became a full time job.

Lorna has always wanted to grow her business and better it as she goes on and so she trained to become a dog groomer back in 2019. Shortly after that covid hit and the business came to a standstill. As much as Lorna hated not working she took the opportunity to get stuck into a dog behaviour course for daycare and dog boarding knowing one day that this would be a part of her work.

In the summer of 2023 she got her license to become a dog boarder and has enjoyed every minute of it. It is a never-ending journey and she is always looking for ways to improve her work with peoples pets. As much as she loves to keep busy and thrives off a hectic lifestyle, she understands the importance of concentrating on what she does have and has slowed down to focus on the animals in her care. She knows it is a privilege to be trusted with peoples pets and is always having to pinch herself that she is doing the job she loves.

  • Alison

Alison, also known as ‘Lornas mum’ has always been a big fan of animals and always offered to help out with the dogs boarding if there were a time that the dogs had to be left unattended.

She has been fully first aid trained, insured and has years of experience in being around groups of dogs with the business being in the family.

It’s relieving to know that there is an emergency contact set up if ever needed.

  • Lindsey

Lindsey joined Pawfect Petsitting last year and takes great care of the dogs who board here. She loves being out on dog walks and is never afraid to get stuck in with each individual dog that stays here. The dogs love to play in the garden with her and go crazy when she arrives because they know its her coming to spend the day with them.

It is a massive help having another pair of hands in the week and means that the dogs are getting the amount of attention they need.

Lindsey is fully first aid trained, insured and loves taking on new courses to learn more about dog behaviour.
