- How does it work?
A sitter will visit you in the week prior to you going away to pick up keys and go over any details you feel like you need to tell us about your pets and the house. They will then come and stay in your house on the scheduled date and look after your pet(s) and home to make sure everything is safe and secure. We will keep you regularly updated on how everything is going to keep your mind at rest. On the day of your return we will either post your keys back through the letterbox or come back to you and drop them off when you have settled back in.
- What am I paying for?
Your dogs and other pets will be settled and happy in the comfort of their own home and we will keep them in their daily routine to avoid any fretting. Your dogs will be walked, fed and entertained whilst you are away. You also have the peace of mind that your house will be looked after and secure.
- Is the price negotiable?
Our rates are priced very competitively so we are unable to offer any discounted rates for any reason.
- How do I book with you?
We have a contact form on this website which will go directly to our phone and email account. We will always try to get back to you within 24 hours of your request. If you have a preference at how we respond (phone or email) you may specify this in your message.
- How far in advance will I need to book?
You can book however far in advance as you like. If you know that you are going to need me a year or two in advance, then booking this early is certainly no problem for us. We can only be in one place at a time, so for your benefit it probably is best to book as early as possible to ensure availability. However, if you have a spontaneous trip or an emergency, we will try our best to accomodate this. Booking a week or a day in advance is not a problem, if we are available then we are more than happy to help you out.
- Will I need to buy your food and drink for the duration of your pet sitting?
We never expect anybody to buy food or drink. We always buy all our own groceries before the stay.
- What are your payment terms?
We accept cash, cheque or bank transfer. We do ask for payment upfront before the pet sitting begins. If paying with cash or cheque please leave the money in an envelope in a secure place in your home for me to collect on my arrival. If you prefer a bank transfer I ask for this 2-3 days in advance before we begin the pet sitting.
- Are you insured?
Pawfect Petsitting is fully insured with Clivertons, this covers me for all aspects of the job.
- What will you do if my pet becomes unwell whilst I am away?
We will have all your pets information on the forms you filled in prior to our stay, this will give us all your pets details about any illness’ or medication they take, plus which vets they are with. If anything happens we will take your pet to the vets and make sure they get the help they need. In the meantime, we will keep you fully updated on their current circumstance.
- How far will you travel for pet sitting?
We work around the Crewe and Nantwich for dog walking, therefore we tend to do any pet sitting here and in the surrounding areas, such as Wistaston, Willaston, Aston, Sandbach, Marbury, Audlem etc. Please contact us if you are unsure if we are able to cover your area.
- My dog doesn’t get along with other dogs/people, can you still look after him?
Yes, our pet sitting specialises in animals who are nervous and aggressive towards other animals. This way, you don’t need to fret about leaving your pet surrounded by other animals or people in places such as kennels or home boarding. We will build a one to one relationship with your dog, so that he/she will get used to the sitter, instead of several different people at kennels. We will walk your dog away from other dogs or play with them in the garden if needs be.
- How much experience have you had?
Currently Pawfect Petsitting has one sitter who has been walking and sitting pets since February 2015. They have grown up around animals of all kinds (reptiles, cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more). We are happy to look after any type of pet, but please contact for pricing of any unlisted on the pricing page. We are also able to supply references upon request.
